The Difference Between Single-Piece Wet Wipe Machine and Double-Piece Wet Wipe

Feb 09, 2023|

The difference between single-piece wet wipe machine and double-piece wet w is their output and efficiency. This is an important factor to consider when you are looking for a wet wipe machine to suit your factory needs.

Wet wipes are non-woven cloth materials that are bonded together using resins, chemicals or high pressure to prevent them from breaking apart when they are wetted with force and used for wiping surfaces such as toilets and kitchen tables. They are designed to retain moisture and keep their shape and integrity throughout their shelf life.

In order to achieve this, the wet wipes must be made using a wet process which consists of converting the fibers into liquid slurries with water and other chemicals. The resultant paste is then pressed into flat sheets by rollers and dried to form long rolls of fabric. These rolls are further processed and slit into narrow widths before they are perforated or cut into individual sheets.

The finished cloths must be classified according to their dry weight, which must be at least 1.4 oz/in2 (40 g/m2). Absorbency of the wet wipes is also a critical requirement, with high-quality products absorbing between 200 and 600 percent of their weight in solution.

Wet wipes are available in a variety of forms and materials, including low-cost synthetic fibers, natural fibres like cotton or viscose, and chemical pulp. These wet wipes are designed to be soft and absorbent to provide a pleasant feel when wiped, and can help improve skin comfort.
